Reaching out is often the hardest part. Here is exactly what happens next.
Call or send a message
Call the doctor you would like to see, or use our contact form. We are happy to start with a short phone interview to see if we are a good fit.
Your first session
We review the therapy agreement, talk through what brings you in and your background, and begin to set goals. Sessions run 45 to 50 minutes.
A plan that fits you
Most people come weekly. We build a plan around your goals, often with practical tools you can use between sessions.
Straightforward about cost
We are a private-pay practice. Neither Dr. Laird nor Dr. Shari is a contracted provider with an insurance company, which keeps your care between you and your therapist.
- Payment by cash or check at each session
- Monthly superbills you can submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement
- Out-of-network benefits are not available on HMO plans
- Your therapist will go over fees with you before you begin
